Springfield is an existing detached bungalow in New Mills to which we have added a large side extension housing the main, kitchen dining and living space within one large vaulted ceiling volume. The oak and steel tie roof structure is left exposed with contemporary internal finishes of birch ply and a polished concrete floor. 

The existing bungalow has been been renovated with internal wall insulation, making the whole house very energy efficient.
